The 1000 is a capable sampler and sequencer, especially with JJOS, but I'd go with the advice to look for an MPC One around the same price these are budget versions of lowering the bit rate but they work, especially for drums and what not so does that mean if I normalize to -30 in the DAW, then normalize back 0 in the MPC, would that effectively be 12 bit playback?
